A straightforward overview of how we handle information across our website and services.

The short version

This notice explains how Spero League LLC (“Spero League,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit speroleague.com, contact us, or use a Spero League service that links to this notice.

  • We collect information you choose to send us and limited technical information about visits to our website.
  • We use Google Tag Manager and Google tags for measurement and campaign performance, and Cloudflare Web Analytics/Insights for privacy-focused performance metrics.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • You can contact us to ask about, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.

1. Information you provide

If you email us or otherwise contact us, we may receive your name, email address, company or organization, and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information to respond, discuss a potential project, provide services, and maintain our business relationship.

Please do not send sensitive personal information through a general inquiry email unless we specifically ask for it. We do not knowingly collect payment information, government identification, precise location data, or health information through this website.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting, security, and analytics services may receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, approximate country or region, timestamps, and performance measurements. We use this information to operate, secure, understand, and improve the site.

3. Analytics and tracking technologies

We use Google Tag Manager and Google tags to manage and measure site activity, campaign performance, and conversions. Google Tag Manager may collect aggregated diagnostics about tag firing. The tags configured through it may send information such as page views, interactions, device or browser details, approximate location, and online identifiers to Google or other configured destinations. Depending on configuration, Google tags may use cookies or similar technologies. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, sometimes called Cloudflare Insights, to understand page performance and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for usage metrics, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not collect or use visitors’ personal data for Web Analytics. Learn more in Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or measurement, our Google tagging configuration should be used with an appropriate consent mechanism. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect site functionality or measurement.

4. How we use information

We may use information to respond to inquiries, provide and improve services, communicate with you, understand website performance, protect the site from misuse, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use this website to make decisions about a person’s eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other services with legal or similarly significant effects.

5. When we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, or operate the website and business, including Google and Cloudflare as described above. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising by third parties beyond the tags and destinations configured in our measurement tools.

6. Third-party websites

Our site may link to GitHub, Justin Werner’s website, client applications, or other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this one. Review those notices before submitting information.

7. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including business, security, dispute-resolution, and legal needs. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children

This website is intended for businesses, teams, and general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact privacy@speroleague.com.

9. Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@speroleague.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
